The 642-1 is Smith & Wesson's Airweight Centennial, a hammerless pocket revolver in .38 Special with a 2-inch barrel. This one, serial CDJ7546, is modern production with a stainless finish and rubber grips, rates excellent condition and comes with its case. With no exposed hammer there is nothing to catch on a pocket or holster edge on the draw.

This is the kind of lightweight snub revolver New Mexico buyers choose for concealed carry. If you hold a valid New Mexico concealed handgun license you are exempt from the seven-day wait and can collect it as soon as the NICS check clears; without one, the dealer holds it seven calendar days. There is no purchase permit and no registration, but you must be 21 and will show photo ID and fill out Form 4473 at pickup.
