Browning's Maxus II in Realtree Timber is a new semiautomatic 12 gauge produced as a 2023 Shot Show special. It carries a 28-inch vent rib barrel, a composite stock in the Timber camo pattern, a fiber optic front sight and the Inflex II recoil pad, with a nickel Teflon coating on the internal parts. The listing uses a stock photo; the gun itself is new, UPC 023614997696.

The New Mexico seasons described here are rifle hunts for deer, elk and pronghorn, so this shotgun earns its place on the gun's own merits. A long vent rib gives a steady sighting plane, the fiber optic bead is easy to pick up in low light, the camo stock blends into timber and bottomland cover, and the Inflex II pad takes the sting out of heavy loads. It is a camo field gun for New Mexico shotgun work, bought new.
