Browning's X-Bolt Target McMillan is a bolt-action rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 28-inch heavy barrel that is fluted and threaded. The receiver is blued, the metal wears a satin grey finish, and the rifle sits in a composite stock. It is new in the box; the listing photo is a stock image rather than a picture of this exact rifle. UPC 023614678182.

The 28-inch heavy barrel marks this as a rifle for prone and bench shooting, yet the 6.5 Creedmoor also meets New Mexico's big-game standard of a centerfire .22 caliber or larger with expanding bullets, so a hunter with a drawn deer or pronghorn tag can carry it on the October-to-December rifle hunts if the weight does not bother them. For most owners it will spend its time at long-range matches and in load development, where the heavy fluted barrel and composite stock are at home.
