The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter in .30-06 Springfield is a bolt-action hunting rifle with a 22-inch sport-contour barrel, a matte blued finish and a checkered walnut stock. Our catalog lists the condition as used; the supplier's text describes it as new with UPC 023614854333 and shows a stock photo, so both are recorded here as given.

The .30-06 is a centerfire well past New Mexico's .22-caliber floor, so with expanding bullets this rifle is legal for deer, elk and pronghorn. Most of those licenses come through the annual big-game draw, and rifle hunts mostly fall between October and December, with the dates listed per hunt code in the 2026-27 booklet. A 22-inch barrel and a walnut stock make it a traditional walk-and-glass rifle for the fall, and the matte blue keeps glare down on bright days.
