A Browning 1885 Deluxe Low Wall single-shot rifle built in 1998, originally chambered in .45 Colt and since converted to .45-60. It has a 24-inch half-round, half-octagon barrel, a case-colored receiver, a tang peep sight and deluxe figured walnut. Brass and reloading dies come with it, so the new owner can load for the converted chambering from the start. The rifle is in excellent condition.

The .45-60 is a centerfire of well over .22 caliber, so with expanding bullets it is legal for New Mexico big game, and a single-shot with a tang peep sight suits the hunter who likes one deliberate shot on a drawn deer tag between October and December. More often a rifle like this goes to cowboy-action shooters, where the case colors and figured walnut draw attention on the line and the included dies keep the odd chambering fed.
